So we return to school tomorrow. I must say that I had a lot of fun this break. We went to California, I got a tablet, we made candy canes... Overall, it was pretty good :)

I'm gonna be more proactive about posting here. Maybe I'll even get that fic done sometime.

I feel like I'm going crazy. But also I aven't updated this in forever, so I might as well. I really need to concentrate on school work, but who wants to do that? Other than school, life us on the okay side. Swim season just finished so I have more free time. But I'll miss it.

Districts was fun though. And something funny happened too. Our boys 400 relay was short one person for finals because of that one stupid git leaving early. Well, the guys improvised by sending my friend's untrained boyfriend to swim. He bettered their PR by three seconds. What does that tell you?

I'm really bad about updating this thing.

I saw X-men origins and Star trek recently. And let me tell you, they were amazing! Who knew that things that are supposed to be geeky could be so epic? Let's talk about X-men first. The special effects were amazing, and the story had an interesting plot. since we know that wolverine had amnesia at the beginning of the first movie, they could have done whatever they wanted to. But they did keep it pretty close to comic book cannon. Wolverine was an interesting guy. His brother was pretty cool too, and it was really awesome how they used Deadpool. I'd give the film a thumbs up.

And then there's Star Trek. See, this is an example of how to do an Alternate Universe story. The characters were very close to their counterparts, yet were different. Also, the special effects were mind blowing. The cameo by Leonard Nimoy was cool too.

This post makes three in a row! Life's still pretty quiet though. Not much is going on right now.

On another note, today I cleaned my desk off. While I was going through my papers, I came across an old story idea I had two years ago. I could't believe how bad it was! I sounded like some rabid fangirl, and barely used coherent English. In my past self's defence, I was short on paper and using shorthand. But it's still no excuse to use words like 'ebil' and 'ppls'. I really hope I don't write like that now...

Ciao
